School Run Schemes for Local Authorities

School-run.org can provide Local Authorities with a competitively priced school-run scheme for as many schools as you wish.

This works out to be much more cost effective than each school purchasing a school individually from school-run.org. In addition the Local Authority can choose, if they wish, to reclaim some of the cost from the schools themselves.

How does it work?

• You choose which schools to include in the scheme. Once we've received payment from you for the relevant number of schools you need to e-mail the schools and direct them to www.school-run.org
• The schools can register themselves on-line for free, and their school-run home page will be activated on www.school-run.org.
• Each school can determine the level of Security for their scheme.
• Schools then inform their parents about the scheme and encourage them to sign up.
• Parents register through the school home-page on www.school-run.org and are sent a password to their e-mail account.
• They can then use this password to access the system and register their journeys, and find other parents with whom to share the school run.
